What is People and Planet First?

Around the world there is a growing movement of enterprises that prioritise people and planet over private profit. These enterprises ⏤ from cooperatives to fair trade enterprises, social businesses, Indigenous enterprises to many others ⏤ are not just transforming lives; they’re rebuilding entire communities and ensuring their products, services and supply chains are not harmful to the planet. People and Planet First is a banner that unites this global movement and provides a verification system, access to resources and collective advocacy through a network of trusted partners. Together, we are transforming the way business is done and building an economy for everyone to thrive within the means of our living planet.
